At the end of the summer I hiked to a high plateau in the Rocky Mountains, USA, with my brother and sister-in-law. A lake lay below a rounded peak, amid scatterings of pine clustered in rustic fields. Clouds raced across the sky before an approaching storm. The color, painterly action, and sweeping lines seek to capture the vibrancy of the experience and invite a visual exploration throughout the image as though wandering freely through a wild landscape.
