We Have But Today

"Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet here, we have but today to make a difference." We can learn from what has happened in the past, but we can't change it. We can prepare for the future, but we can't yet live it. So all that leaves us with is today and the all important question—what are we going to make of it?

And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his span of life? Mt 6:27 RSV
