Words and Music - Stephen Jordan

Stephen's music was recently featured at a Christian Music Festival in Brussels, Belgium. Belgium Web TV interviewed the Jordan brothers and filmed their performance [in Flemish].
The cedar house stands tall but does not last.
The golden temple shines bright but fades too fast.
What would you give to him who gave you everything?
Lay your life aside,
And come and live for him who died,
Lay your life aside
Do not be afraid though mountains tumble into the sea
And towering waves seethe and drown our dignity.
There is a river still that strengthens us so we’ll never fall
Free to stand and greet the day as the world we used to know will pass away.
Lay your life aside, And come and live for him who died
Lay your life aside, How would you live for him who died.

Lay your life aside…..
Aside.....
Be still and know your God.
Lay your life aside,
Be still and know your God.

You touched us once and now we long for you,
You fed us once and now we hunger for you,
And in the midst of burning flames we burn for you.
And midst of drowning waves we thirst more for you.
Lay your life aside…
Be still and know your God…
Now you’re alive, now you will fly, now you will rise and lift His name on high.
Be still and know your God.
